This house is set apart from the others
Having stayed for a couple of days I couldn’t speak highly enough. The house is surrounded in beautiful countryside, fully renovated, clean, warm and well equipped. Whilst private and peaceful was quick and easy to get to and from the NEC. The view of the castle and the bluebells in the woods as well as the morning and evening sunshine across the fields was a real treat and sets this house apart from any others. Edwina was so helpful, welcoming and responsive. Will definitely be back!
Well appointed. Exceptional host communication. A special place
We were a group of 8 attending a wedding close by and the coach house was the perfect stay. Rooms are all a great size and had plenty of bathrooms, house was spotless. Lots of parking and very clear instructions on how to get in and out of the property. Being on the castle grounds the surroundings were beautiful, peaceful and great for a morning walk. Edwina recommended a local place to eat called the barn at Berryfields, we had a lovely meal there and all the meat is served fresh from the farm. Could not fault the stay and definitely would stay here again if in the area! Thank you 😊

A superb stay! Incredibly comfortable, a stone’s throw away from the stunning Maxstoke Castle and beautifully decorated; our few days at the Coachman’s House could not have been more enjoyable. Edwina was a delightful host and helped us feel at home immediately. We’ll be back soon I promise!

Fantastic place to stay! A lovely rental cottage that is extremely well furnished. In a lovely private area, with all the amenities you could want. Couldn’t recommend more!
Everything we needed and more
Recently stayed at the Coachmans' House whilst on a visit to the NEC, and came away very impressed. The property has four double bedrooms, three ensuite plus one with a dedicated bathroom, all recently renovated and well furnished. Everything feels thoughtfully put together, and Edwina and everyone at Maxstoke couldn't be more helpful. Practically speaking, the property is very well equipped: fast and reliable Wi-Fi throughout (including the garden), a fully stocked kitchen, living and dining areas, and a study. For a family break or a working trip, it more than covers all the bases. The setting is peaceful and the surrounding countryside is lovely, but you're not cut off. The town of Coleshill is just a few minutes down the road, with supermarkets, pubs, restaurants etc. and everything else you might need, and also has a direct train service to Birmingham and London Euston. The NEC and Birmingham Airport was only 15-20 minutes away by car, and the city centre about 30, so remarkably well connected. Strong recommend and would return.
Rooms with a view!
A special and unique Air B&B experience. Very comfortable and well appointed 5 star accommodation with excellent service in the grounds of a fifteenth century castle. What more could we have wished for. Thankyou Edwina and team. We will be back!

Perfect short-term rental
I stayed here for the weekend with some colleagues, whilst we worked at a trade show at the NEC. It was such a great place to stay and in such a pretty location. I would recommend The Coachman's House to anyone.
